This painting depicts Ganguddy, Dunn’s Swamp in Wollemi National Park in the late afternoon light. As I walked along the edge of the lake and up the creek, it seemed as thought the bush both invited and threatened to entangle me. Glimpses of shimmering water shone between the still trunks.
